Located in central Nebraska, the Thumel facility originates farmer owned grain throughout central Nebraska. Thumel has licensed capacity of 5.6 million bushels using both upright and ground storage. Purchased in 1998, many improvements have been completed increasing storage, handling efficiency and load out capabilities.

Grain is received by truck, then efficiently loaded onto 100 car unit trains for shipment on the Union Pacific Railroad. This facility services flour mills, processors, poultry users and ships unit trains to the Gulf, Pacific Northwest, and export to Mexico.
